Description
Includes pickled products such as pickled plums, mango pickles, lime pickles, pickled gooseberries, and pickled watermelon rind. Oriental pickled (“cured” or “preserved”) fruit products are sometimes referred to as “candied” fruit.1 These are not the candied fruit products of category 04.1.2.7 (i.e. dried, sugar coated fruit).This page provides information on the food additive provisions that are acceptable for use in foods conforming to the food category.
