Steamed breads and buns (07.1.5.0)

Description

Oriental-style leavened wheat or rice products that are cooked in a steamer. Products may be made with or without filling. In China, products without filling are called steamed bread (mantou), and those with filling are called steamed buns (baozi or bao). Twisted rolls of various shapes (huajuan) may also be prepared.1 Examples include: filled dumplings and steamed bun with meat, jam or other filling (manjyu).
