Description
Fruit and vegetable nectars are beverages produced from purees, juices, or concentrates of either, blended with water and sugar, honey, syrups, and/or sweeteners.1 Fruit-vegetable nectar blends are reported under their components (i.e. fruit nectar (14.1.3.1) and vegetable nectar (14.1.3.2)).This page provides information on the food additive provisions that are acceptable for use in foods conforming to the food category.
