Food safety management at the heart of the webinars at the Senac University Center in Brazil

Two webinars organized on June 7 and 9 at the Senac University Center in Brazil with the goal to highlight food safety management practices gathered an audience of about 200 undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and food safety professionals. 

Moderated by Dr Lais Mariano Zanin, the first webinar opened with a presentation by MsC Raísa Mucinhato who spoke about water and school nutrition in the context of a dialogue on food safety and the United Nations 2030 agenda. Following MsC Simone Crispim presented about the context of risk analysis in food imports through an integrated study of sanitary regulation, the regulated sector and federal inspectors.

The second webinar on June 9 opened with a presentation by Msc Rayane Freitas who highlighted the importance of humanization in food services, followed by Msc Luiz Zanetta who discussed safety procedures and review recommendations in the COVID-19 protocols from different countries. Dr Lais Mariano Zanin moderated the discussions after the presentations.
