To address the gaps in the General Standard for the Labelling of Prepackaged Foods (CXS
1‐1985) to enable the general principles to apply to food information provided through technology and to
develop broad guidelines on the use of technology in food labelling. The goal of this eWG is therefore to
prepare proposed draft texts for circulation for comments at Step 3 and consideration by CCFL47.
