Council for Responsible Nutrition-International symposium open to all Codex delegates

The Council for Responsible Nutrition-International (CRN-I), a Codex Observer organization, will hold a complimentary hybrid symposium on 5 November in Nuremberg, Germany, at the Sheraton Carlton Hotel Nuernberg, in the Burggrafensaal meeting room, located next door to the Scandic Nürnberg Central, the venue for CCNFSDU45. Breakfast and networking will be held from 8:00–9:00 CET, followed by the symposium from 9:00–11:00 CET. The choline session will also be available worldwide online.

This hybrid session, part of the 2026 CRN-I symposium series Next-Generation Nutrients: Advancing Nutrition Science Throughout the Lifespan, will focus on choline and its role in neurological health, liver health, and metabolic outcomes across the lifespan, with consideration of what the science means for nutrition policy.

Speakers include Rima Obeid, Ph.D., M.P.H. (Saarland University Hospital) and Emma Derbyshire, Ph.D. (Nutritional Insight Ltd.).

Prior to and following the November hybrid session, CRN-I will present three complimentary virtual sessions on other nutrients:
